ALL SEASONS – STILL IN SUMMER MOOD

Hello All Seasons Bloggers,

This week the link is open from Sunday Sept. 30 through Wednesday Oct. 3 till 7pm, Pacific time.

How I enjoy your inventive, interesting, and posts full of information! Many thanks, friends:)

Changed the title of this post several times, since I realized that here summer and vacation/holidays are synonymous, because they are in the same time, but that may not be the same for you across the globe. From my son I know in Holland it is right now 5-15 degr. Celcius. Here it’s still 75-90 degr. Farenheit.

What I mean with all of this is to say, I’m not yet in the mood to be serious or pull up my sleeves to do a pile of work:)

Smiled at the green with purple flowers while walking in Old Town San Diego~

Fountain in Huntington LibraryThe original virgin white walls of the Huntington libraryย  – but these walls are sooo white!

Could not resist playing with the effect of the Ink Outlines filter in photoshop.

Fun things to do – the camera family – Balboa park – looking at a juggler

The beach -as often as I want:)

One specific thing in our family in summer is: eating ice cream almost daily! Are you still having ice cream?

Here in south Florida we only have two seasons, wet and dry. The wet season will end with the last hurricane, maybe before early November. Just returned from a visit to Chicago, where some days were hotter there than back home in Florida.

Lovely shots, Jesh. Balboa Park is such a treasure.
We have ice cream all time here, our very mild winters are to blame ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Enjoy the remainder of your summer. We have had such a cold winter I am looking forward to sunny warm spring days before the hot blast of summer sets in. Have a fabulous week!

  8. Jesh, looks like I’ve rolled up my sleeves and know it only now because you got me to think about where I am in terms of dealing with stuff. Merci beaucoup. ๐Ÿ™‚ I like the effect of the inks outline. It almost looks 3D. I must see if I have it in my version of Photoshop. Cheers!

  9. Sure! Here in Italy I am still having ice-cream…we are having 20C in the afternoon and lake Garda is still crowded with tourists! ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s the advantage of travelling so often Italy to Finland back and forth…

Summer is gone and Autumn is here, for sure. We are not big ice cream eaters โ€ฆ for me specifically, it is a summer-time treat when we are out and about. When having a snack at home, both of us would rather have something savory like cheese and crackers, or popcorn. Yum! Thanks for hosting!

Summer is winding down here. Leaves are starting to change. I’m not a huge ice cream fan, but my husband is. Reminds me, I should make some.

I chose my thumbnail just for you!

  12. The beach … it’s beautiful. Although the distances aren’t too big in the Netherlands I would like to live some closer to the beach.
