Hello All Season Bloggers,
The photo link is this week open from Sunday March 10 to Friday March. 15 at noon, Pacific time.

Thank you so much for your vibrant, cheerful and interesting posts and thumbnails! It was great and a pleasure reading them:) It’s now so much easier, now I can reply on most of your blogs, instead of emails!
Sorry if I didn’t get back to your replies on my comments to you. It has been hectic and distracting last week. You are still my favorite bunch of people!

Next week Sunday is St Patrick’s Day – if you like to do a green post, even though the landscape is not green at all, go ahead!

Having grown up in Holland an hour from the dunes
has made an indelible impression.
The water side is still one of my favorite places, just to go
and see and hear the waves, feel the wind through my hair,
and smell the salty air.  When I was doing my psy. training
we were fortunate to be in the same position.

At a beach guard cabin at Laguna Beach in California.
Always so busy till late at night. One of my friends remarked
while we walked to the car, “You pray for a parking place,
right?” I laughed and shook my head,
but parking is indeed a big problem.

Sorry, my lens is not strong enough to see these birds close up,
but they were right below me
(standing on the street above).

Balboa Island, where everyone would like to have a weekend house!
Also a great place for  camera work:)

When our kids were younger we went to the beach
as much possible, (because it was free) as I was spending
mega bucks in graduate school.
This must have been in winter, when it’s too chilly to
be in a swimming gear, except for the die hard surfers.

To look in the distance to see or be at the ocean to see the boats
and the ships  is an experience that has stayed
with me throughout my life.

  1. Laguna Beach is a beauty! I can get there for a day trip from San Diego. It’s time I returned! My favorite photo is the pier. I’m always fascinated by a pier. My daughter was married on the lawn above the La Jolla pier — the perfect setting!

  2. What a treat for my eyes to see these ocean, beach, sand kind of photos. I love the water and we actually have a small pond on this property that attracts an abundance of birds…something different to see every day. Of course it is still shrouded in white right now! And yes, I would have liked to see a close up of those birds. ( I am a bird nut!)

  3. Herrliche Meeresfotos.

    1. Hello Henrietta, Welcome to All Seasons and thank you much for linking up.
Maybe you didn’t see the “click here” on the end of the post… This is part of the challenge, to link up one photo. Just “click ” where it says. A new page opens up, fill in your permalink (that is below the tittle of your post in “edit” mode) – copy and paste – (shortlink is okay too) put on first line of info, then rest of info, then click on Web or File and the images of your post will show – choose, and wait till you can crop it – click again. Voila your done! Time enough till Friday noon. If you are not sure, no worry, send me a comment, and I’ll try to explain it another way:)
      Cheers, Jesh
