Auburn Art – one of the 10 galleries in town
What they call a gallery in this town,
seems to be anything they like to show, lol!

Three lines of a Fairy Tale
“Follow the path ,” said the painter
The trees whisper, “Where to?”
The waves answered, “we;ll carry you to your destiny.”

Keep running into palms too, lately
the Koi inobstrusively passing by, but full of Zest …

One of my first watercolors was this Half Dome View in Yosemite National Park. For the ones who have a Zest
to climb a 9000 feet mountain:)
Never get tired or this sky view of Half Dome.
They say that the left was originally connected
to the right. That’s probably why they call
the famous right side “Half” Dome.
Hubs has hiked this mountain 3 times with
our (then ) teens and 3 times on his own
(while I was painting).
A six hour hike one way.

Great photos. LOVE the statue and the palm shaded koi. Half Dome is always impressive. I’ve only been there once, but I’m ready to go back.

I always let out a happy sigh whenever I see lovely shots of Halfdome and Yosemite. I wish I had climbed it when I had the chance back on my first visit in 2005. Such a beautiful place 🙂

Great photo your son took of the gold panner statue. The photo of half dome is amazing! I’ve never hiked it, and probably beyond my capabilities now. My son hiked it and said it’s one of the toughest hikes he’s ever done. Enjoy your weekend!

Wonderful photos, I specially like the palms and that great mountain view.
The climb at the stair would still suite me, I think.
About your son … is he ‘spoiled’ in the dynamic city or did he ‘loose the capability’ to really look around and see nice and interesting things in a more natural and peaceful surrounding …? Just asking … 😉
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful photos. My son hardly ever sends me photos, but he sent some from Dublin. I was amazed ❤ The word Gallery sounds so elegant. When driving through the Finnish countryside you often see it in Finnish 'Galleria'. Might be an exhibition or shop of whatever stuff.
