THIS WEEK

You know that because of painting, I watch the progress of things. Changes do not suddenly happen or at random. Changes are connected to something else.
It will become known the coming weeks if the “sky” will get lighter or darker. More meant for the Americans. But then, like America, so will the world go.

_______________________________________________________________

When it is darker it is sometimes a puzzle
what is on top and what is on the bottom …

Oh, the sun is still shining, putting
a dappled pattern over the landscape,
sometimes highlighting a single object …

Yet, certain things seem with progress of time,
to be hanging by a thread.

If the sun sets, only the most glowing colors
remain clearly visible

As it gets darker and darker only the main
lines, patterns, and shapes remain visible.
The rest has wrapped themselves in a blanket of mystery.

There comes a time
when night has completely taken over
the reign and edges are lost in darkness

  3. I love the reflections in the water. I have lots of artists in my family and they do indeed see things differently….they see so much detail in every little thing. Enjoy your week!

    1. Yesterday saw a Tamron lens on sale (Had one, but it broke to my dismay). Somehow I thought about your blog. Who knows it would be strong enough to capture birds?
