Wednesday 3

Wrenched : pulling or twisting – suddenly or violently
Found this tree at the hospital, two years ago, right after I had brought my husband for surgery. The word Wrenched approximates how I felt. A sudden change, feeling pulled out of my comfort zone. Rest assured, the physical has been fixed, but I did not know that, at that moment.

MY USUAL WEEKLY POST FROM WEDNESDAY TO THE NEXT
YOU’VE GOT THE KEYS!

Remember that moment that your parents gave you the house key?
It meant they trusted you!
It meant a rite of passage.
You were considered an adult now.
You’ve got the keys!
One-Liner Wednesday

When you have keys, you can ENTER a door, where others can’t!
Have you heard about “the keys of David?” It’s a big deal.
Apparently when someone has been given the keys of David,
no one can shut or open the door without your permission.
All kinds of symbolic doors. A door to health, a door to favor, a door to the art world, a door to wisdom, etc.
John writes in Rev.3:7 to the city of Philadelphia they have
the keys of David. They were given these keys were,
because they were holy and true!
A picture of God’s perspective on maturity:)

I thought one does not see too many

his flower capture!

Part of my Celebrity Collection of paintings. This one with stripey leaves.
Can’t remember if it was the sun hitting the leaves
a certain way, or there was really a stripe through the middle, but I was stunned by this flower!.

Beautiful night sky photo! At first glance I was fool by the tree reflection. It seemed bigger than it should be then I figured it out. 🙂

I especially love the photo of you and Boo and the Hortus in the Netherlands.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Did I understand correctly that you no longer live at 3000 feet in North California? Funny that you have a dirndl from Austria – in which part of Austria have you been?
Best wishes fom a place near Vienna/Austria & happy sunday

Didn’t have a key growing up, but as an adult I have a key when I visit my parents, lol! Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend.

Hmm, I’ve never heard of the keys of David. Doing some googling there are all sorts of answers to it. I like questions more than I like answers. You have to think on questions. Answers you just go okay.

Your son was an adorable 3-year-old. I bet he is a handsome 14-year-old! Loved your one-liner. I don’t think my parents ever gave me the house keys. I guess that means I’m not officially an adult! 😉

Haha – a good one. Maybe you don’t WANT to be an adult:) Boo is a first born – they are always very responsible 🙂

You are welcome Jutta! If you like you can also reply in German. I am Dutch and have lived for a year in Berlin. (But now I lived so long in the USA – 35 years) I don’t know if i myself can finish a whole sentence in German!)

I got keys to our home at age 10, if I remember correctly. I should still have them somewhere.
Cute pic of you two, time sure flies!

Thank you for playing on WOW:)
Enviable when you live at a place you don’t have to worry about a key! But didn’t they give you a key when you moved in your house?
Have a question, and please be honest – when I started All Seasons, I started with 3 photo links, next week, it was 5, and so on.I expected to go the same for WOW.
Do you think I need to change the method of linking (for example – you kind of did it with your comment.) Is a photo link right now too much hassle for people ?(this time of year, covid, etc.) Please let me know – thanks so much! Jesh
